 2010 PRACTICAL BOOKKEEPING & CHARITY ACCOUNTING WORK EXPERIENCE SESSIONS

 

 

 

Our Monthly Practical Bookkeeping and Charity Accounting Workplace Experience Sessions dates from June to December 2010 are now available.

 

 

These sessions are tailored towards the needs of students who are currently studying Bookkeeping or Accounting courses; and those interested in working as Bookkeepers, both in the profit and non-profit sectors.  

 

  

During this period, students would have

 

  • 8 one to one sessions with a tutor;

  • 4 additional sessions where they would work on their own, with minimal supervision from the tutor to build their confidence and assurance;

  • Access to free QuickBooks accounting training software for 60 days;

  • 1 year Learning Licence of the CIPFA Charity Accounting Toolkit;

  • Assistance with job hunting in all business sectors including Volunteering as Treasurers or Committee Members for Charities/Voluntary/Community Organisations;

  • Gained transferable skills that can be used in Employment, work towards setting up their own businesses or freelancing if they wanted.
