Prim and Proper Services Ltd (PPSL) is a bookkeeping and accounting firm, specialising in bookkeeping for charity and non-profit organisations. Founded by Grace Ayanfalu in 2006, PPSL started as an accountancy firm catering to all, but Grace soon found her passion for helping charities and non-profit organisations, due to their unique and stringent requirements when it comes to paperwork and methodology.
PPSL is based in Southwark, London, but with the advancements of modern technology, PPSL is able to work with charities, professionals and organisations all across the UK. If you are a charity or non-profit organisation looking for a bookkeeper, Grace is exactly who you need.
Grace is a Member of the Institute of Certified Bookkeepers (MICB) and has over 15 years of accountancy experience. But she is much more than your average bookkeeper; read on to learn more about PPSL’s Director Grace Ayanfalu.
Four facts about Grace
#1: She is passionate about charity accounting
Not only is Grace a Member of the Institute of Certified Bookkeepers (MICB), she has postgraduate degrees from the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy (CIPFA) and London South Bank University (LSBU) for Charity Finance and Accountancy and Charity Accounting respectively, demonstrating her dedication and expertise within charity bookkeeping.

#2: She is a stickler for Paperwork!
Grace specialises in charity accountancy for a reason: it has specific regulations, terminology, jargon, practices and so on. Charity accounting is different to regular business accounting for many reasons, but mainly because of donation and spending accountability (if you want to find out more, read about the differences here). This means paperwork is of the utmost importance to show proof and evidence of correct spending. So if you work with Grace, she will tell you that her #1 priority is paperwork!
#3: She Practises what she preaches
PPSL used to run Work Based Training Programmes (WBTP), where Grace would train young people interested in a career in accountancy to give back to the next generation of bookkeepers. She spends time giving back to the community, such as initiating the Skills Exchange at Impact Hub Brixton to upskill young people and prepare them for a career.

#4: She loves to craft
When she’s not busy going through the books, she loves to craft in her spare time as a way to unleash her creative side and destress. She has a side business called Designs by Grace where she embroiders uplifting and inspiring quotes on keychains, pouches and other useful everyday items.
